M&M MOBILE HOMES
Built on Faith, Family & Hard Work
OUR STORY
M&M Mobile Homes was founded in 1993 by Jeanette Mims, beginning as a small business refurbishing mobile homes from her front yard in rural Williamsburg County, South Carolina. What started as a humble operation quickly grew through Jeanette’s determination, hard work, and commitment to serving her customers.
In 1999, Jeanette took the next step in growing the business when she purchased property along Highway 52 at Cades Crossroads and relocated M&M Mobile Homes to its current location. Alongside her husband, Leon Mims, Jeanette continued to build a successful business and a reputation for treating customers like family.
Through the ups and downs of the housing market, including the challenging years of the 2000s, Jeanette and Leon remained committed to their business and their customers. Their perseverance and faith helped M&M Mobile Homes continue moving forward when times were difficult.
Faith has always been at the heart of M&M Mobile Homes. Jeanette has built her business on her Christian beliefs and the conviction that with God, anything is possible. The verse that has guided her throughout her journey is
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13
In 2016, Jeanette expanded the business into the new manufactured home market, opening another chapter in the company’s history. Since then, M&M Mobile Homes has continued to grow and successfully serve families looking for quality manufactured and modular homes.
Today, M&M Mobile Homes remains a family-owned and family-operated business. Jeanette serves as President, with her husband Leon serving as Vice President. Their family continues to be involved in the business, including their son, grandson, and two great-grandsons, carrying the family tradition into the next generation.
From refurbishing homes in her front yard in 1993 to helping families find their new homes today, Jeanette’s journey is a story of faith, perseverance, family, and the American dream.
For more than three decades, M&M Mobile Homes has remained committed to one simple belief: Treat people like family, work hard, trust God, and never give up.
